Bergamot and mixed citrus fruits give Assaf Risk Comete a bright, zesty start with a bitter edge. The heart changes mood: saffron is dry, leathery and faintly metallic, and a mix of spices adds heat around it. The shift from sharp citrus to warm spice is quick, and it sets up the darker materials in the base.
Amber, oud and vetiver sit underneath. Amber brings resinous sweetness, oud a dark, woody depth with a slightly smoky resin, and vetiver an earthy, grassy dryness that cuts across both. Together they make the base the darkest part of the scent. The style is a spicy, woody amber opened by citrus, with oud and saffron carrying the centre of gravity.
