The top of Assaf Search is the familiar bright pair of bergamot and lemon, sharp and zesty. The heart is where it turns aquatic. Seaweed gives a briny, green note, Calone adds a watery, melon-like marine freshness, and Hedione contributes an airy, transparent, jasmine-like glow. Together they make the middle feel cool, light and open.
Musk, Ambroxan and cedarwood make a clean, dry base. Ambroxan is woody, ambery, mineral and a little salty, cedarwood adds dry wood, and musk is soft and skin-like. The style is aquatic: citrus above, sea and air in the middle, and a mineral woody-musk base. Its centre of gravity is the watery heart.
