What does Assaf Arkle smell like?
Lemon and orange meet cinnamon in the opening of Assaf Arkle, so the citrus is sharp but wrapped in dry, sweet heat. The heart is much darker. Leather brings a supple, faintly smoky edge, and oud adds resinous, woody depth. The change from that bright first impression to such a serious middle is the main movement of the scent.
Underneath sit patchouli and vanilla. Patchouli is earthy and damp, vanilla warm and creamy, and between them they take the sharpness off the leather and oud. The overall style is dark, spiced and sweet all at once. Most of the weight lies in the heart and base, with the lemon and orange only framing the beginning.
Who is Assaf Arkle for?
Autumn and winter, evening and special occasions: those are the shop's tags for Arkle, which is listed as unisex. Cinnamon, leather, oud and vanilla bring together a rich, dressed-up character rather than a casual one, so the tags and the notes point the same way.

Next to Assaf Promise, the shared part is cinnamon, leather and vanilla. The rest differs: cardamom, lavender, saffron and roses there, lemon, orange, oud and patchouli in Arkle.
